About DG Porsche
D&G Porsche Specialists is a friendly workshop based in Wallsend. Both Dean and Gary served their apprenticeship at Porsche Centre Newcastle under the Porsche Technology Apprenticeship Scheme; a highly recognised achievement within the motor industry.
During their three year apprenticeship they each attended twelve training courses at Porsche’s specialist apprentice training facility in Bristol, covering the seven fundamentals of automotive technology – Engine mechanics, fuel ignition and exhaust systems, transmission and drive train, chassis, body, Air Conditioning and electrics/CANtopology.
Following the apprentice days of making tea and changing tyres came the years of diagnostics, engine rebuilds and driveline repair, together with attending over twenty extensive training courses at Porsche Cars Great Britain including advanced electronics, engines, gearboxes, chassis, driveline, body systems, can bus networking, system diagnostics, High Voltage hybrid systems and diesel technology…. here we are now at D&G Porsche Specialists with 4 ramps and service technicians , Rob manning the front desk. Also we have John helping with our brokerage service. He has been a Porsche enthusiast valuer and club member for decades. Added to our technical expertise you can be sure that any car sold here will be thoroughly checked for condition and provenance and then fairly priced.
We look forward to new and exciting developments while maintaining our straightforward and friendly customer service . Recently we opened our own MOT station on site.
